Wok cooking not just for oriental Cuisine

I am Italian and of course food is one of the main ingredients in an Italian household. Anytime someone visits, the first thing for the host to do is put food on the table. One of my fondest memories of my grandmother is her making zapalas. Also known as fried dough or funnel cake. Her zapalas were hot, fluffy and covered in powdered sugar. They were the best. When cooking with a Wok it keeps the temperature consistent and cooks evenly. I am going to cook these zapalas Thursday in my wok and show how great they turn out.
